ABC Restaurant plants its flag as the only central-Singapore cafe that answers every pre-visit question upfront — halal-certified, all-day hours, MRT-close, honest local comfort food at heartland prices — turning practical reassurance into the brand's premium differentiator.
ABC Restaurant started from a simple frustration: too many cafes in central Singapore make you work hard just to find out if they are halal, how late they are open, or whether the prices are fair. Tourists were arriving at Clarke Quay and Chinatown with no reliable option that answered all three questions at once. Locals were tired of paying Western brunch prices for a meal that should cost SG$8.
We opened to close that gap. Not with a gimmick or a heritage origin myth, but with a straightforward commitment: put every practical detail upfront, cook honest local comfort food, and keep the prices where a family or a solo traveller can eat well without doing mental arithmetic.
Singapore's central districts are full of restaurants that perform authenticity. We would rather just be useful — halal-certified, air-conditioned, late-night hours, MRT-close, and a menu that fills you up for under SG$15. That is the whole idea.
